One of a few forage producing brassica that produces large amounts of deer food with no tap root. It also produces succulent leaves that are readily eaten by whitetail deer as they sweeten after the first freeze.
Fertility- Rapeseed is hardy and generally adapted to most soil types. It prefers adequate amounts of phosphorus and potassium. Highly responsive to nitrogen. A soil test is recommended.
Seeding instructions- Plant 10 lbs/acre when grown alone in a deer food plot or 5-10 lbs/acre in a food plot mix with small grains and clovers.
